Truck Toolbox Turned Vent Hood?

Has anyone tried turning a truck bed toolbox like this into a vent hood?

Seems like you could take off the doors, flip it over, but a hole for a vortex fan and have a decent exhaust vent hood.

That's not a bad idea. I have a toolbox just sitting there. Maybe if I ever decide to brew indoors I will have to consider it.

I've already got a vent hood that does 'ok'. Convincing SWMBO that I need to spend another $150-200 on my brewery to replace something that works isn't on the top of my priority list.

But, thought I'd throw the idea out there. They're all over CL from $100 on up. A lot cheaper than buying a true hood.
