Just a quick FYI. Good Morning on draft. 1/pp.

GOOD MORNING - (Imperial Coffee Stout - 8.8%) - Brewed with Monson’s own Maxwell Road Maple Grade A Dark Amber Maple syrup, Good Morning pours pitch black in the glass with a creamy mousse-like head. The bubbles give way to aromas of rich milk chocolate, cocoa powder, and dark amber maple syrup. The flavor starts as a blast of milk chocolate, sweet maple syrup, and rich fresh coffee as deeper complexities are uncovered as it warms. The crew here at Tree House tastes “chocolate covered maple candy”, “vanilla”, “chocolate cake”, “brown sugar”, “fresh roasted coffee”, and “sweet bourbon”. A super decadent treat, Good Morning begs to be shared and contemplated! (750 ML - $12) ** 1 750 ML limit **

Brought my brother in law to Tree House for his first visit on Saturday afternoon, and by sheer luck scored Good Morning because we were heading there around 1:30 regardless of what they had on tap. He had never been to ANY brewery before, let alone Tree House. Received the following text from him yesterday morning:

"Holy ******* ****...Good Morning...just amazing. I'm already looking at Tree House's hours to plan my trip back."

Another one bites the dust :D

Will he expect Good Morning every time he goes?

I gave him the full rundown on the lore of Good Morning and the hundreds of people that lined up for the last release, so I think he appreciates just how lucky we were.

My only concern now is fearing for my life because his wife is a penny pincher and he hasn't exactly discovered a cheap hobby

Wait till he gets into trading, and glassware, and trips to breweries hours away with special releases!!! It never ends!!!

http://treehousebrew.com/blog/2015/1/6/re-growler-fills-at-tree-house-in-the-future
I wanted to post a quick note regarding growler fills in the future at Tree House....

It was reported by the news that we would be discontinuing growler fills when our packaging systems were up and running. This was a simple oversight (it's OK, it happens!) but unfortunately for us it was published and we received a *lot* of e-mails.

So to reiterate, growlers fills are *not* going away, ever! They've been core to our brewery since we brewed batches ten gallons at a time and will be as long as we take up space in the universe.

The reason I stated it is 'unlikely' we will fill 'core' beers [in growlers] is because we anticipate having twelve lines of growler-only beers at all times. If a line runs dry and we have a few kegs of core beers to fill it with, we will fill it…! But it's our plan, right now, to dedicate the retail shop lines to more small batch projects.

Imagine...

Double Double Shot, Very Green, King Julius, Julius dry hopped with 'x', Green dry hopped with 'y', fruited berliner weisse, a bounty of other beers yet to be brewed, etc. etc. etc. . . all available in growler form only!

I hope this helps to clarify.

But seriously, Green in cans.

12 lines! I wish I lived like 20 minutes closer.

Not sure how many more times it will be as when they move across the street they said they will not have it on tap unless they run out of 1 of the 12 beers they plan to have on tap at all times.
It will be in cans though.

Oh lord I cannot wait for Treehouse cans

Give me all of your Green digitalnate

Forgive me if this has been discussed, but how well do Tree House's growlers hold up?

Curious because I was offered a month old Double Shot growler in a trade and was wondering if I should bite?

I traded a Good Morning recently that was over a month old. The guy i traded it too let me know that it was still in great condition. I think Treehouse does a pretty good job of filling growlers.

TH does the best growler fills I've had short of HF.
Thanks for the response! I guess I'll try it out along with Harmony. I haven't had any Treehouse yet and it's been a big want of mine for a while.

What everyone else said. I have never had any issues with their growlers. I traded a 2 week old Julius and the kid thought it was fantastic, and it was probably 3 weeks when he had it. Also, i just last week i gave a 12/20 julius to a friend that never had it and he said it was the best beer he ever had.
