Travelling and tasting beers

So, hello everyone, a new Home Brew here.

Check this out, I’m heading to Oregon in two weeks to visit some friends and I wish I could attend to some beer events or spots. I had heard that this state is the best damn place to be a beer lover in the US. We’re going to share a Portland airport shuttle, personally I want to attend to the Fruit Beer Festival in June, but I would like to hear more suggestions from any of you that have been or live in Portland for more beer spots or events. We are staying close to the old town chinatown, so, if you know places close to there I will appreciate it

My absolute favorite restaurant there, without a doubt, is Stammtisch. 18 German beers on tap including a Grodziski. Food is wonderful.
