I'm doing a brew this weekend, and looking to make a 10 gallon batch from one grain bill, then split the batch into two 5 gallon batches prior to boil.

Once they are split, the hop schedule may or may not be the same, but I plan to add some coriander and perhaps some bittering orange peel to the Belgian IPA, then pitch with a Belgian yeast strain. This is definitely a "see what you get" kind of deal, and as long as its drinkable I'll be happy with he result.

With those details, how does this look for a grain bill? The OG should be ~1.055 at 75%. I normally achieve closer to 80% but this will be acceptable as well.

12.00 Lbs Belgian Pilsener
06.00 Lbs American 2-Row
02.00 Lbs Crystal 20L

Simple and to the point. How will this fare for the traditional IPA?

Edited to add - I want to use as much Belgian Pilsener as possible because I have a bunch of it sitting around that needs to be used
