I mounted my twin faucet tower a couple weeks ago and used the copper tube method to try to cool my beer lines. The results have left something to be desired. Usually the first pint comes up at least half foam. I found a fan that could be mounted in the hole on the top of my fridge. That way a project box wouldn't have to be used and no extra hoses in my kegerator. Would this be enough to keep my lines and faucets cold? The link to the fan is posted below.

Fans help a lot. I wouldn't expect copper to work well either. It's great for it's ability to transfer heat/cold quickly, but it doesn't retain the temps unless you insulate it.

I use something like this... http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-beer/glycol-pid-CDI232.html

It's expensive, but it works great. I actually built mine myself since I wasn't about to pay $100 for 10'. All I do is use a cheap pump to pump the glycol from an old keg, through the lines, and up my tower. My beer lines run through the insulation too, so it keeps everything nice and cold.

I ran the beer lines inside 1/2" copper tubing then filled the tower with expanding insulation to the top of the copper tubing. Just wondering if i could mount that fan at the bottom of the tower blowing up. Think 7.7 cfm could be enough to keep everything cold?
