Hi,

This past weekend I racked a Russian Imperial Stout to a secondary container; I now notice that I sucked a little bit of trub from the primary into the secondary. I plan to keep this in secondary for 6 months. Do you think I should rerack to another container to eliminate this remaining trub for this longer secondary conditioning to avoid off flavors from the trub?

Thanks,

Everything will fine. Every time you transfer you risk some degree of "screw-up".

A bit of trub poses no hazards to your beer. Transfers do.
