What does everyone do with the extra beer from the secondary that wont fit in the keg? I am new to kegging and had a batch that was probably just under 6 gallons. I will probably bottle the remainder but was wondering what others do. Obviously, im not going to just dump it. Worst case, I will drink flat beer:D

I just bottle mine and stick it in the dark for a while.. Just did it with an extra 1/2 gallon of porter.. We'll see how the bottles taste compared to the keg..

Carbonate it in a PET soda bottle.

Fill about 3/4 full.
Charge with 30 psi
Shake
Repeat
Chill and drink.

Or... marinade.

beer, Teriyaki sauce, garlic, Worcestershire and what have you, stick a crapton of steak in there and sit it in the fridge overnight, the bag it up and freeze for awesome bbq later.
