Brewed an ag a few weeks a go. Was in the primarey for 2 weeks and when I transfered it to the secondary all tasted well. It has been in the secondary for a little over a week.Went to bottle tonight and it now has a tobacco flovor and smell. What causes that??
Thanks

What's the recipe / style? I may not be able to help, but those that can will be need to know. FWIW, I actually want tobacco notes in my barleywine. Hmmm.... might you have used a significant amount of dark crystal malts?

Here is the recipe
9lb 2 row
10oz carapils
1lb cara red
pitched rehydrated notty.
