Hey all,
I brew a low gravity "American Bitter" I have an ounce both of Cascade and "Centennial Type" hops. Should I use these as a dry hop?

The Recipe:

6# Golden Promise
.5# Munich
.5# White Wheat
.5# Amber Malt
.25# Rice Hulls

9.5 g Columbus 60 min
14 g Cascade 10 min
14 g Zythos 10 min
14 g Cascade 0 min
14 g Zythos 0 min.

WLP 008 East Coast Ale

OG 1.040
FG 1.015
IBU 36

Because you've got a nice malt profile there, and a low OG. I would personally let it be malt dominant instead of letting the hops try and outbid the malt.

The idea behind this beer is that if I had it to people they won't think that its a Low OG pale ale, they will think its a pale ale. My though is the addition of dry hops will add another layer to the beer.

Though you make a great point, and it's supper tasty out of the fermenter...
