Thread tape on MFL fittings?

Ok I managed to get some MFL's. Should I put the silicone thread tape on them before screwing them down? I think no cuz of the plastic washers in them but I figured I would check to be sure.

flare fittings don't require teflon tape and it can actually make it leak if you use enough tape.

Yeah, the plastic washers make the seal. The threads just hold the tip against the washer firmly.
