Mash Profile
Light Body Infusion In 75 min @ 150.0°F
*Add 16.88 qt ( 1.25 qt/lb ) water @ 162.0°F
Sparge
*Sparge 18.15 qt of 170.0°F water over 10 min

Looking for a dry crisp IPA that will accentuate the piney taste of the hop.
Will throw in the corn sugar with 15 minutes left in the boil (not the mash) for a nice ABV spike.

Probably gonna brew this up this weekend. How's the recipe look to you guys? Any changes that you think I should make?

Looks legit. Chinooks deff my favorite hop. One thing I noticed is you want a nice slow sparge to get every last bit of grain rinsed. I usually aim for 1 gal every 7-10 mins. But that's for fly sparging. If you batch sparge, draining speed will not affect efficiency.

I made the Northern Brewer Chinook IPA and it was great. The grain bill is similar but a little less. And you are using a lot more hops!

My recipe does not have the calculated IBU.

I am still in the process of getting up the courage to use Chinook as flavour/aroma, but that sir, looks like a good IPA!

It's a batch sparge but iBrewmaster doesn't have that as an option so I just modified the fly sparge selection.

Interested to see your results. I did an amber with all Chinook and it tastes like straight candied tangerines. Very good!

I did this one and with some slight adjustments because I have been No-chilling the Tinseth IBUs were 67.5... haven't tasted it yet.
