I see some recipes that call for hops to be added at 0. I understand the 60min boil and so on, but what is the 0min. I go right from boil to the CFC to the fermenter. Thanks in advance and your welcome for a good laugh.
 
0 minute additions are simply added at the end of the boil. If you use a CFC (or plate chiller), and do not recirculate, you might consider a hopback instead.
 
A hop back allows hot wort to run through whole or plug hops. Because the hops are not boiled, there is no isomerization of AA (no bittering) and more importantly, many of the volatile hop compounds that provide aroma and flavor are carried into the beer with minimal oxidation or other manipulation.
