My shipment from Midwest Supplies came a day earlier than expected and no one was home. After almost 5 hours on the porch my Wyeast activators were still liquid. After smacking my Oktoberfest lager it puffed up fast.
Good thing some warm air blew in (the high was 29 F).

I got a shipment of White Labs yeast a few days ago and they were frozen solid. I spoke to White Labs VP via email and (he/she don't remember) they said that freezing it once would probably reduce the viablility 10% or so. I made a starter tonight we will see. I will let you know when and if the starter gets going.
