Thermometer recommendations

Anyone? Right now I have a digital thermometer I got from walmart and I don't exactly trust it. I was looking into a thermapen and saw this:

Any recommendations? Maybe even one I can run into my mash tun that way I can monitor my mash temp instead of opening the lid.

I am considering the ThermoWorks ChefAlarm or Dot with the 12 inch probe the next time they are on sale. Brewing and for use in the oven.
The Dot is $20 less than the ChefAlarm.

You have a cooler mash tun? at worst you drill a little hole on top

+1 thats you should go with thermowork, way better that anything else on the market

Only $19? Not bad at all compared to the thermapen!
