If it tastes anything like the recent batch of Nelson, then hard pass.
Apparently is was brewed at Alpine, but *shrug*. I'm inclined to think it's an Alpine one-off, because that horrid beer label doesn't match any of Green Flash's design aesthetics - which is equally bad but just in a different way.

Haha, yeah I'm not sure I ever pictured Keene Idea in a can, but sure as hell not like that.

It’s Alpine Beer Co tradition!

Cognac > Scotch > Bourbon > Peach Sherry.

The Peach Sherry isn't bad, just on the oaky side of things.

The Coastal Connect NZ pils is absolutely fantastic. If you guys are missing Party Cup, get that beer.

Missing party cup. I can't wait til it is canned. My party cup glass needs more party cup in it.

Tried bottles of all four of the Alesmith OG barleywines tonight. Surprisingly terrible beers, especially coming from Alemsmith.

New BASS leans more toward dark fruits more than any batch I've had before. Just had a very small taste though.

Agreed. I do enjoy it. If you had purple or orange wax assassin, it has that same'ish dark fruit flavor. Curious if it will disappear over some time. It isn't bad by any means, just a little surprise since I am use to coffee roast and a bit of barrel as the flavor.

This was on draft, I haven't opened a bottle of it yet.

Am I the only one who doesn’t want out of town breweries to bring only IPAs and fruited sours when Modern Times has festivals? Thanks In advance. This only applies to outside the actual events.
Agree.

When the **** is San Diego going to get a lager festival? With how perfect the weather is, you'd think we would have something akin to Pils & Love by now.

I'm coming to San Diego this weekend for the Festival of Dankness. Any other events, tappings or other shenanigans I should seek out this weekend?
