I would much rather roll with the Expedition stout which is apparently available on draft everywhere right now. Very good non barrel aged ris. But that's just me.

I guess the difference is we'll probably be able to just walk into a store and grab Expy for some time. But it is an awesome beer, indeed. Up there with Plead the 5th, Zhukov, Serpent's Stout, and a few others as my favorite non-BA imperial stouts.

Black Note, Quinnanen Falls, Hopslam, Smitten, another QF, Expedition =

Two Hearted was surprisingly the second beer to kick last night. Was very impressed with how many people came out

wow, nyc got more coffee and barleywine too. damn. LI got a dozen or so cases of backyard and it is imposible to get ahold of.

Backyard was out by the time I got there ~7:30. But Barleywine and Coffee were still kicking, 2 per person. I grabbed those plus 2-hearted plus some other goodies.
yeah, missed out on the backyard but grabbed a couple more bcbs variants, nothing wrong with that!

Superstar (always forget which location my buddy frequents) got 3 cases delivered yesterday like 3p. My buddy was there as being delivered. Guy delivering had his car filled w cases for other deliveries.

Anyone hitting up any NYC Beer Week events? Thinking of Big Woody at Spuyten Saturday afternoon and then Perennial at Clinton Hall Saturday night. Probably skipping Cigar City at Torst, but we'll see.

Clinton Hall is claiming they have the only kegs of La Boheme and Trixie. Looking at their prices on beermenus for their regular stuff, doesn't make me optimistic for pricing at this event.

Monday CC event at Tørst. List (subject to change):

1/6bbl - Rum Barrel Aged Marshal Zhukov
1/6bbl - Hopped on the High Seas
1/6bbl - Cubano Espresso
1/6bbl - Gates of Hell
1/2bbl - Jai Alai IPA

Perennial will also be at Owl Farm on Monday I believe.

Mugs Split Thy Brooklyn Skull on Mar 1-2

Another Cigar City event at BT (coincidentally on Monday as well):

Rum Barrel Aged MZ
Don Gavino
Illuminating the Path
Good Gourd Almighty

This list looks even better to me.

BT on Monday then haha
I mean, Torst's list is basically just as good. I love Cubano Espresso. But I've had it multiple times and have a bottle of Gates of Hell, so I'd prefer Blind Tiger's list personally, since I've had none of them.
