All the people on Facebook whining that they were misled and took the day off for Coriolis cans just because NEBCO mentioned a T-Rex on their draft list post.

Can someone please pound a Coriolis can in the parking lot and tell me how it is so I can miss out vicariously

I feel so far away

Will have to drink Combover tonight
Had a can yesterday. I am not a Coriolis man but I like this batch. I don't know what that means for everyone else.

For people missing the release and/or anyone who wants more NEBCO, this is the list for the Eli Cannon's event at 6 tonight:
Double Fuzzy Baby Ducks Cask Conditioned w/Mosaic & Citra Hops
Double Fuzzy
Fuzzy Baby Ducks
2013 Premeditated Murder Barleywine
2014 Imperial Stout Trooper
2015 Imperial Stout Trooper
Supernaut IPA
Motuekamamuke Pale Ale
Barrel Aged Session Stout
Comb Over Saison
G-Bot
Sea Hag IPA
668
I really hope that's not the only keg of the session stout out in the wild.

These Coriolis cans are so freaking good
I hope they can everything now
I'm just gonna be bummed if full batches go into cans vs split between cans/growlers fills. Best part of NEBCO recently (besides the great beer!) has been swooping in around 630 to no line and being out in 15mins with growlers of whatever they have on.

I give very few ***** about getting cans, just want beer to drink at home.

Either that or make the limits super low; like 1-2 4packs so it lasts a while and keeps the crowds down.

I generally agree with that sentiment. However, I'm going camping Saturday and since no glass is allowed these Coriolis cans are gonna be clutch as hell

That's all well and good, but I've been waiting for years for this. Cans are so much more convenient.
That said, The $$/oz is actually the same between growlers and cans. Very atypical of NEBCO vs. other breweries, and revealing of how these new breweries charge too much for their growlers.

wow head brewer at New England leaving to start a new place called Counter Weight. Excited for new brewery but bummed for NEBCo. Hope it's being left in able hands.

I think I saw Matt mention the new spot would be in Hamden in the comment thread on Facebook.

The more I think about it, the more excited I get about this. I know Westfall's tastes don't always skew towards the popular, but a lot of the things he gets excited about I get excited about as well. (Elm City Pilsner) While he was at NEBCO he didn't quite have the freedom to totally go his own way, and obviously the market is going to determine his course to some extent, but I'm kind of psyched to see what he gets up to on his own.

Also, Young Matt/Sebastian are super good at what they do, so presuming they take over as the "head" brewers at NEBCO I think they'll do very strong work. Basically, even if this is a change and the end of an era I can still see a pretty easy way that this becomes a best of both worlds situation. NEBCO stays great and Westfall's new brewery does good, interesting stuff you wouldn't get from NEBCO.
