I'm currently reading "The joy of homebrewing 3rd edition".
At some point the author says :
"10 determine alcohol content by means of the specific gravity scale, like* wise subtract the final specinc gravity from the original specinc gravity and multiply by 105 to get percent alcohol by weight. For example 1.040 - 1.010 = 0.030; thus, 0.030 x 105 = 3.15 percent.".
Isn't it * 131?.
Is this book any good? Because it's 400 pages + and I don't want to invest too many time reading a useless book lol.
