It's funny 'cause I have a Tripel going and the cat is sitting on the couch close to the 'glug glug' of the blowoff and doesn't seem to want to move. The sound to me is sort of soothing in a way. :)
 
I have 4 cats, and none of them are interested at all in my blow off setup while it's bubbling. I'm kinda glad, though, as I really don't want them messing with it.

I've done that. It's kind of a sinking feeling to see cat hair on top of the wort in the primary.

The beer turned out great, though. One more RDWHAHB story...

I frequently find cat hairs in the brew kettle. They get boiled though. You can see why this might be...

No cats to worry about here but I have found my dog licking the outside of my carboy. During active frementation his nose is working overtime also.
