Yeah I don't know. I opened a couple bottles months ago that were whack, but this last bottle of blend 1 was PERFECT. Seriously.

What dictates whether a beer is 'Dark Origins' vs. just 'Origins'? Anybody know the difference? They all seem pretty dark.

1 is "dark" the other is "burgundy"

I've maxed out so far, and it is expensive, but I am letting my trustee buy a few bottles so that helps. I am wondering if we will continue to be able to get this volume for the rest of the releases, so far its been pretty high volumes.

Does anyone know if babies are allowed at the barrel cellar taproom? My girlfriend and I were planning to go to the release on Saturday, but we also have to babysit her niece and I'm just trying to figure it all out. Also, are the releases generally a packed house or is there room to move around?

One time I brought my daughter to a release last year. It isn't an ideal setting for kids that can run around (access to barrels, brewing/bottling equipment, lots of other stuff they shouldn't touch) but since you say "baby" I am guessing this one isn't mobile. I haven't been since the barrel cellar has been re-opened but I think that it will be a little tight with a stroller but it should be manageable. If they are small enough to strap to your back/front with a carrier I would suggest going that route.
