To everyone who posts here,

I would like to thank everyone who posts on this website. I, like many, got a homebrew kit for christmas this year, and have just finished my primary fermentation of my first brew (Northern Brewer Irish Red Ale). I was excited, freaked out, calm, excited again, anxious, then more exited.

Every question I have had has already be answered, and after a couple hours (well, tons) over the weekend of browsing, I feel very comfortable with what I am doing. Yes, I was scared that I didn't aerate enough because I didn't see any bubbles out of the airlock, but then I read about 900 posts about how the lid probably wasn't on my bucket with a perfect seal (that was the issue). After reading for a while, I almost feel like an intermediate with all the info (I know, I need to at least finish a few, let alone one, brew before I can really call myself that).

You guys rock, and I'm glad to be a (new) homebrewer in an awesome community.

Happy New Year! :mug:
