Temperature controller question.

I am going to convert a freezer to a keezer and I am going to use a temperature controller but I am confused because I noticed thay some are dual control? Would I need a dual cotrol if it is just for a freezer? It seems like I would just need it to turn off the compressor when it gets cold enough and kick it back on when it gets too warm. Confused on on the videos talking about one side for HOT...

You can use dual controller if you want to ferment and use brewbelt at the same time, if just for cooling you can just program the cold side of the controller for cold only, or get one that is already set up like Johnson A419 controller online

Okay I get it now. I was thinking that is what it might have been for but I wanted to make sure before I purchased anything. Going to get the stc1000. I don't mind the wiring aspect and hell it's about time I understood celsius lol.

Just make sure its 120v not 240, cheers
