My instructions with my beer kit states that I should keep the beer in the bottle between, 50-70, but my house is around 73-76. Is that ok or should I stick it in my beer fridge?

After bottling the beer should be in about 70 plus for a couple of weeks to get carbonated (bottle conditioned). Once carbonated to a level you like then you put it in the fridge to retard any further fermentation/carbonation build-up.;)

personally, i would let the priming sugar ferment out completely, and then bring in to the fridge.

reason being, i would prefer to know sooner if i have bottle bombs. i would feel really bad if i were to give a friend a bottle and have it explode on him/her, possibly causing injuries.

again, mid 70s are fine for this, don't worry!
