I am noticing that my wort chiller is becoming tarnished in random places. Probably oxidation from my hands? Thoughts? Is this normal? Is it still usable?

I wouldn't bother doing this for your wort chiller unless you want to use it as a showpiece in your brewery... but if you ever want to get copper really clean and bright, rub it with some white vinegar and table salt. Works like a charm on copper pots.

Wort - It's mildly acidic. Should come out clean as a whistle! So I'll assume you're talking about the parts that aren't submerged...

StarSan at the normal concentration (1oz/5gal) works great. It'll also clean the **** out of a penny or tarnished brass fittings! :D

otherwise don't worry about it.
