So just the other day I was complaining to my buddy that our CL is pretty much worthless when it comes to finding home brew related items. I have been looking for another 3 or 5 lbs co2 talk to keep in the garage and to take out to parties and what not, so the other day just for giggles I searched craigslist for "CO2". Low and behold I hit a jackpot! There to my surprise, listed was thus, all for $50:
1 3lbs CO2 tank
1 5lbs CO2 tank
1 dual gauge regulator
3 5 gallon corny kegs
1 5 gallon glass carboy
1 24qt SS stockpot with lid
1 7 gallon bucket with lid
1 box of various home brewing parts (included BLC, extra ball lock connects, hose, airlock, strainers, hop ball, sanke tap)
So seeing this and seeing that it was posted 2 days prior I figured I no chance in hell. Well I let a day go by and didn't hear anything so I emailed again. Yesterday the guy calls me and said that he was surprised on how many responses he got, and that since I was the only one to email twice the stuff was mine!
Now I know I am gloating, but freaking sweet!
Ad on a side note the 3 lb tank still has CO2 in it. Now I am pretty sure this is a stupid question, but seeing as how I have no idea how long the CO2 has been in that tank, does CO2 go bad? I wouldn't imagine, but asking is better safe than sorry.
