Hello there,

I have a a FastFerment and whenever i am about to pitch my yeast i need to aerate my wort as you all know. What's the best diy trick to aerate this cumbersome and awkward shaped vessel?! I typical roll it around on the floor. But have to be careful not to knock the ball valve and keep my finger over top hole.

If i make a DIY drill aerator then likely it will scratch the plastic inside.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks,
Lorne

You are (or were) about to pitch yeast, so this doesn't really help you, but I use the aquarium style aeration system and it works great.

Stone & pump / o2 or then transfer the wort via another, small, sanitized vessel that can be closed and shaken easily.
