sugar question , dextrose vs cane vs table

Hi all, Read the article on the main page for edwort's Apfelwein. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/edworts-apflewine.html

Have an empty fermenter and thought I'd give it a try. Having trouble finding dextrose around here without paying an arm and a leg for it. Curious how other sugars will effect it. I can easily get raw cane and of course normal table sugar.

Will that work, and what changes can I expect to the final product.
