Does anyone know the gravity contribution of kiwi? I brewed 5 gallons of beer and added 5lbs of kiwi to it. I'm trying to work out all the numbers, but I'm not quite sure what the sugar content of kiwi is.

If you have a refractrometer you can put a drop of kiwi juice on it and it will give you a reading.

Is it and early harvest or late harvest kiwi?

Just kidding, best would have been to measure the specific gravity before and after you added the fruit as each piece would have it's own sugar profile dependant on any number of variables in the growing process. But, why do you care?

You did measure the OG, right? So you would measure the FG and calculate the ABV, right?

I measured the OG before I added the kiwi, but wasn't too worried about it after the kiwi. I'm not overly concerned with alcohol content, I'd just like to know about where my FG is. Oh well...
