Hi folks. I'm planning to brew a Roggenbier this weekend and heading out today to get the ingredients. Problem is that the recipe I want to brew has a grain that none of the local homebrew shops seem to carry. Caramel wheat. There's only .07 kilograms needed for the 11 liter batch that I'm making so I'm guessing I can just use another grain. Any suggestions. Carawheat is 46 SRM so maybe C-40 would be a good replacement.

carawheat is C40 made from wheat rather than barley. C40 will get you the sweetness but it's hard to say that it's the same since, fundamentally, it's not.
