Hey!
I live in Texas and can't buy lab glass without a permit due to regulations here. I was wondering if this would function as a stand in for brewing yeast starters.

It would be really convenient to be able to boil and cool in the same container the starter will be brewed in. Do you think the glass would hold up with hot liquid in an ice bath? Seems dicey. I might just give up and use a pot and gallon jug.
