stupid me, just pored priming sugar straight in beer

so how bad did i screw up? i pored the priming sugar straight into the beer and stirred it up!!! i dont know what the hell i was thinking.....
 
dumped it in and stirred it up good and started bottling! totally forgot to boil it in water...
 
You probably introduced oxygen... which will contribute to oxidation... Probably won't know for sure until you taste the bottles with time... Did the dextrose go into solution completely?
 
I used to do it that way when I bottled. I tried it once or twice boiling but couldn't tell a difference. You should be fine.
 
Many people used to add a tsp of sugar to every bottle and then fill with beer (including a guy I work with). The beer may turn out slightly different than if you had dissolved the sugar equally into the entire batch.. but it will most likely be just fine. :mug:
