I live in downtown Seattle and wanted to prove it is possible to produce large quantities of all-grain homebrew in a studio apartment! (large quantities in terms of a college student:D)

Here is a pic of the 3 month and over bottle conditioned brews I came home too after a summer home in Alaska. All the bottles in front are 22oz. bombers. Also attached is a pic of the brewing gear which fits in the closet (excluding the red bull lager machine):ban:

Sorry, I know it's not true beer porn, I felt obligated to post anyhow

AG in a studio apartment?! You sir are a brave man... I suppose not having any roommates to contend with makes it easier to find storage space for all of the AG equipment. My roommates (2 of them) go off on me about fermenters in the hallway or kegs in the living room, even though I'm brewing for them!

A studio apartment might be a mixed blessing I could live with... ;)

If organized properly, I can't see why it would be a problem. The biggest issue would probably be the boiling. Do you brew on a gas or electric stove?

Your absolutely right about the lack of roommates, it definitely helps. You'll just have to get them hooked on the addiction!

I boil on an electric stove, it takes a fair amount of time to do things this way but I can get a full 5 gal rolling boil without the lid on. I'm looking into a turkey fryer, but need to get the landlords permission.

The red bull dealio is a fridge which fits a 6 gallon plastic fermentor and you can adjust the temp. I can maintain anywhere from below 40 to 65 degrees in it. It is almost like it was made to lager

Nice post, I too brew AG in our tiny galley kitchen in our condo. My wife has learned to plan on doing something outside of the condo on brew days, unfortunately those plans usually involve her spending the day at the mall and spending lots of money.

Yes! I want a redbull lager machine also ;/
Agreed... Actually I just went on Craigslist and there was one listed for sale for $30, but I called and it just sold...

Bummer, I was going to go pick it up, although SWMBO probably wouldn't have been too thrilled about it.

Jersh is right, the one I have is the 115v fridge. There are the ones that use just ice but that seems like it would be a pain to maintain a constant temp.

Thanks for the positive replies all
