Brewed a belgian golden strong several weeks ago. Started at 1.082 and finshed at 1.002 after a long ferment. Beautiful golden color to this beer...
Bottle conditioned:
The 12 oz bottles are super carbonated but the weird part is the color changed to sort of a light peach...(not a duvel kinda like for this style...)
The bomber's color stayed the same but are less carbonated.
I assume this color change is due to the activity that happened during conditioning. Has anyone else ever encountered this? Never had such a difference in the bottle style as well.
They taste the same minus the mouthfeel...
