Hey gang, was wondering which is better for stovetop brewing 3 gal AG batches and which would actually heat faster?

1)a smaller pot(5-6 gal) that can only fit on one burner
2)a larger pot(8-10 gal) that can span across 2 burners

for people that have used both.. wondering if the 2 burner larger kettle can actually heat faster due to the extra heat? Although the smaller kettle has a smaller metal bottom to heat up..

Just want to be heading in the right direction when I look for a new kettle!

Thanks Wilserbrewer! Basically what I was thinking as well.

The next item to figure out is the great debate.. SS vs aluminum... I'm wondering how much faster a AL pot would heat up 4 gals on my NG stove vs SS?
