stove top pasteurizing with plastic pet bottles????

stove top pasteurizing with plastic pet bottles can it be done or not.
I like to bottle my cider in coopers 740ml plastic bottles and I always cold crash to put the yeast to sleep,but I would love to stove top pasteurize but wasn't sure about the plastic bottles.
Any thoughts??????

no. they half melt and expand under the high pressure.

I use 33 cl PET bottles and they kinda half melt already when I run them in my dishwasher...
