Storing cracked specialty grain in fridge?

Brought a kit the other week, time ran out to brew now i cant brew till sat. should I store grains in fridge till then? hope it wont ruin the cracked grains. Thanks for replies. Cheers.
 
I'm pretty sure you don't want to do that. Just sack it up and throw it in your mash tun or a bucket until you're ready to use it.
 
Normally you want to store your grains in a cool dry place. They should be in a sealed container of course...
 
If it's completely sealed it's fine, but I'd worry about a small air leak making your grain taste like whatever else is in the fridge. It'll be fine for a good while at room temp.
