I live in a tropical climate where anything outside will rust/corrode if it gets the chance. If neither happens, spiders will find their way into every crack to build a web/live. Indoors seems to be a much better option--less spiders, little-to-no humidity so corrosion isn't as much a problem. I am trying to find a way to store my stuff--every time I go to brew or bottle, I have to take stuff off the shelf to get to stuff in the back or go digging for something. I have done a few searches, but can't seem to find something that looks decent inside of a spare bedroom. You guys know of any sites/links out there that people show off their storage methods?

google this term: site:homebrewtalk.com storage and you will come up with many threads and sites on that topic. Below are three of them:

The Pinterest site is interesting, including the related pics part at the top.

Here are another couple ideas that may or may not work for you, but may stimulate some other workable idea if not.

The first was in response to running out of wall space against which I could put some shelving. I built a platform using a mover's dolly (cheap, at the home store), and attached shelves to it. Now I can roll that back against shelves out of the way and if I need to access what's behind, I just roll it out.

The second idea is using space above. You probably don't have a basement but any place you have exposed joists, you can add a small cleat to the bottom and put "shelves" on the cleats. Then anything that will fit in that space can be put up and out of the way.

I've added labels to the bottom of the "shelves" to indicate what's above when the item is in a box or can't otherwise be seen.

+1 to everything Mongoose said.

Since humidity and bugs are an issue, consider getting some 5 gal. buckets and Gamma Seal lids. Not only will these be useful to store ingredients, but you may want to use them to store equipment that could be susceptible to mold and mildew. Such as tubing, small parts, etc.
