So I got my yeast going after a 3 day starter... at the SG i needed for the starter as per Yooperbrew... thanks again for all the help!

So new problem arose 10 min ago... I have steeped my grains for 20 min as per rec. (cali common)... I then rec. a phone call for a buddy that needs some help with a pipe burst at his home...

QUESTION.... Can i leave the tea now in the brew pot with lid on for a few hours to go and assist with the pipe burst... then come back and resume the boil of the tea... adding of the DME and hop additions, etc without any problems since it is just the grain tea in the brew pot now (2.5gal)

let me know before i gotta get over there!

still new to this game
