I have been surfing thru some of the past posts and have come across some that put hops into a tea ball. And another about sparging your grains after steeping in a grain bag. Question being, could you steep your grains in a tea ball, then sparge them with equal temp water, then clean the tea ball and reuse for the hops? I am sure there is something already posted about this, but I still have to ask. Thanks!

Well, I think a tea ball would be too small for a couple of pounds of grains! I use a big grain bag for the grains and don't bother with anything for my hops- I just chuck them in.

The biggest tea balls I've seen were about 3" in diameter. Fine for a few ounces of hops. If you could find larger ones, no reason they wouldn't work.
