Anyone have one?

I bought one today and it didn't even occur to me to see what people think about it. I tried it out on my tile floor in the kitchen, but it was already pretty clean. So what do you think?

Nope. Sorry man. That's why I put it in GCC. For clarification, its that steam mop that I've been seeing commercials for on TV.

I had a Swiffer WetJet, and I thought that thing kinda sucked. Not as good as a mop in my opinion, but a lot more convenient so I kept it. About a week ago, it broke beyond repair and I decided not to replace it with another. I've cleaned things with steam before, but they were more along the lines of really greasy machine parts. I know the theory works, and it seems to be pretty good on the commercials, but I'm not so gullible to believe what I see on TV. So looking for other people's opinions and experiences.

SWMBO has bought both iterations of the steam shark. we just got the second one... they seem to work fine, but that pad gets dirty awfully quick and will streak subsequent rooms if not rinsed or replaced with a clean one. definitely love the simplicity and ease of use.

What the hell were you thinking?! The very idea of making a purchase without consulting us...why, I never!

Humph...serves you right if it turns out to be a piece of ****.
:D

My bad. I got lucky this time. But I'll make sure never to do it again.

Seems to work ok. I have a few stubborn places that don't seem to want to get clean with this thing. I figured if I need to, I can always just scrub the floor and use the steam shark to dry it up and remove any residue from the cleaner.

As for consulting you guys on any future purchases, I was perusing my porn collection the other day and it seems to be somewhat lacking. Any suggestions?
