I tried to replace the original temp control with the STC. I used the brown wire for the power source hot and the gray wire for neutral. I could not figure out which wire would have been the Cooling Unit Hot wire. I tapped into the orange wire which led to the a/c compressor, fresh food light and most other parts of the refrigerator. This did not work. I also could not figure out where the ground wire goes (green and yellow) on the STC.
End result: The STC was powered by the brown wire. It did not have communication with the cooling unit. We blew a fuse in the garage. The STC was not grounded.
