STC-1000 settings help for keezer

My keeper keeps cycling every 10 minutes for 1 minute. i have a collar which is insulated and a fan on the lid pointing down. its always room temperature in the room that its located in

am i doing something wrong here? are there special settings i need to put? change fan location?

I think your thermocouple is picking up the quick change in air temp. Put it in a bottle of water.

i have read different views about putting it in water. some say it will offset temperatures and defeats the purpose of having the fan to stabilize the air inside the whole keezer

Secure it to the side of whatever you are trying to temp control, and insulate the probe from the ambient air.

Also, cold air falls............If you wish to circulate it, it , (your fan), should be towards the bottom.
