It was "special night" at the homebrew house apparently because I made making a starter look like friggin astrophysics. Long story short, I ended up with too much wort by about 1/3. I just filled the flask up to 1L, dumped the rest and pitched the yeast because it was my second run at it (screwed up the first try and was over it at that point). Will my starter be too weak or will it matter? White labs WLP 002 English Ale Yeast. Thanks!

The starter should have an OG in the mid 30s. A 1L starter volume is common for a for a 5 gallon batch of ale with an OG below about 1.060 or so.

How much malt and water did you use to make the starter?
