Anyone ever mixed this stuff up wrong. I mixed 1oz. to 2.5 gallons water instead of 1oz. to 5 gallons. I used it in my carboy drained it and then used it later that day. Is that mix to strong?

I heard a podcast with the inventor of star san. The problem with mixing it too strong/weak isn't that it's super powerful/diluted but rather the ph doesn't land right to do the trick.

I would suggest resanitizing with the proper dosage.

that same carboy has 5 freshly brewed gallons of wort in it. Hope it will be OK. Can't re do it.

Dilute what you have left over from your brew day and save it for future use.

I did the same thing the other day, only I didn't add enough StarSan. This was for a beer I was kegging. I plan on trying it today, hopefully it'll be ok.
