I have read many of the discussions as to not fear the foam of StarSan. I haven't seen this aspect covered so I figured I'd ask. Is the foam OK when sanitizing a keg and racking beer over to it? I would assume yes, but better safe than sorry! Thanks all!

Make sure the starsan and foam touch everything. Its effective as a contact Sanitizer. I've never tasted anything from leaving all that foam in my carboys, bottling buckets, and kegs.

The only problem I have with the foam is when bottling. If there's a lot of foam left in the bottle it'll push out the top when I'm filling and it gets harder to tell when the bottle is full. But it won't hurt the beer.
