Can you use the same stainless steel conical fermenter for both wine and wort rotating between the two? My wife loves wine and I wanted to be able to make homemade batches of it and if possible use the same stainless steel conicals that I use for my beer and then go back to brewing beer is this possible? Because it is stainless steel I'm assuming that it won't impart any flavors to my batches of beer, has anyone done this and proved it.

Thanks.

Stainless steel is better than glass because ... it can be sterilized with boiling water without any risk of cracking or breaking. Wine or beer, it doesn't matter as long as the fermentor is sanitized properly.

I'm using glass but would love to have a stainless fermentor and brite tank.
