Stainless steel 4 tap tower

My dad recently built me a four tap tower for my kegerator. He welded it all together and did a great job so I thought I'd post some pictures of it.

The first picture is the stainless steel piece we picked up from a scrap yard. It had a lot of white sticker stuck on it which according to my dad was a pain to get off.

The next picture is a huge jump in time and my dad has cut,welded,buffed,drilled the tower. Shanks have also been installed. They are micromatic stainless steel shanks.

Third picture is the front of the tower with shanks installed.

This is the beginning of the insulation the whole tower is well insulated to prevent the loss of cold air.

Wow. Really nice work. I'm always impressed when someone runs across something that most people would just see as scrap and has the vision and skill to turn it into something so nice. Kudos to your dad. I think you owe him a pint or two.

Looks sweet. What kind of insulation did he use? You pics might be my next inspiration in the expensive quest to recondition my kegerator.

He used high density foam. Any should do really. Four stainless shanks and four perlick faucets adds up quick.
