Hi,

I have a Chapman like mash tun and I'm looking for Fly sparge arm. I really like the SS Brewtech arm, but I'm sure it won't work out of the box with my MT. Anyone that has mounted that arm on a non SS Brewtech kettle or would have an idea on how to?

Thanks

/Kim

Yea I have one. It works great, many ways to mount it with a little ingenuity.. I had it mounted to a keggle with just a couple shoulder bolts using the designed handle mounting.. I now have it on a spike brewing kettle. The handles are identical to ssbrew kettles.. I recently decided to change how its mounted though by cutting off part of it and using a compression fitting with a tri clamp adapter to mount it inside the kettle.. I will take some pictures when I get home.

Here is a picture of my current setup along with the ssbrewtech vorlauf attachment installed the same way. Just I simple 3/8 compression to 1/2" npt and a tri clamp on the other side. This could be done with any kind of quick connect though. The only down side is it limits your mash by not being height adjustable. I haven't had a mash that was that tall yet though. When I do im sure Ill figure something out. Most likely just rotate it a little.
