Spruce Beer Help

Hello All

Trying to make a Clone Spruce Beer from Fort George Brewery using a recipe from BYO magazine. Couple of newbie questions.

It says to add the spruce tips as per schedule
5 oz 60 min boil
5 oz end of boil
3 oz dry hopped.

does this mean I boil the first 5 oz for 60mins, then add 5 oz at the end till it cools and then the last 3 oz after it has cooled for a total of 13 ounces sitting at the beer conditions?

Thanks for the help, first time using a non-kit recipe and would like a more experienced brewers opinion.
