I've got one of these rotating spray balls for cleaning

I want to close off some of the slit openings near the bottom. Anyone have a good idea on how to do this? I could probably use JB weld, but I would prefer a less permanent and cleaner solutions. I don't know how to weld so that wouldn't work either

I don't think that you are going to get away with something that is "less permanent". In fact, I think JB Weld is the less permanent option. I have one of these and the pressure that the pump puts out would probably blow out JB Weld out of the slits. I think that only solution what would work is to weld or braise the slits shut.

"Speed tape".
True, heavy duty aluminum tape, on a cleaned, oil free surface, applied with no wrinkles, and then "burnish" the tape down on application.

It'll stay, I promise ya'!

Edit: no need to weld it up, until you are sure that's what ya' want to do.

Dbl. edit:.........I forgot something...........Heat shrink tubing.
